RTP decision
Compare Ice Fishing Leaf and Fish Bets Before the Timer Starts
Ice Fishing does not have one useful RTP number for every choice. The lower-variance Leaf positions and the three fish triggers create different return profiles, so the selected bet matters.
Check the current Ice Fishing bet panelRead RTP by wager type
Use the help panel supplied with the live game and record the RTP shown for each available wager. External reviews can identify the range, but the current provider rules control the live table.
Do not average several options and call the result the game RTP. A player choosing one position receives the return profile of that wager, not the whole menu.

Add hit frequency to the comparison
Leaf segments occupy more of the wheel and usually settle at even money unless boosted. Fish segments appear less often and open multiplier bonuses.
A higher maximum does not describe how frequently a wager wins. Compare trigger frequency, common outcomes and the full multiplier range separately.

Model volatility with a fixed stake
Choose one hypothetical stake and calculate the balance path across a reasonable number of rounds. Keep the stake constant so the comparison is not distorted by changing bet size.
The rapid betting window can produce many decisions per hour. Convert the per-round stake into an hourly exposure before treating a small chip value as low risk.

Use RTP as a long-run model
RTP is theoretical over a very large sample and cannot predict a short session. A session can finish above or below the published return.
Set a loss limit and time limit before entry. Do not increase stakes to recover a run of misses or chase the highest multiplier on the board.
